Haraya Residences offers a bold new way of luxury living

Haraya Residences is a stunning two-tower luxury condominium development in the center of Bridgetowne Estate in Pasig. It is a
vertical gated village that represents a bold reimagining of modern living, one that has been carefully and thoughtfully planned to meet the needs of today’s discerning urban luxury dweller.

Haraya Residences is the latest project of Shang Robinsons Properties (SRPI), a joint venture of Shang Properties, Inc. and Robinsons Land Corporation.

A fresh take on condominium living

The 558 homes in Haraya Residences’ first-to-rise South Tower, and which will be added to as the North Tower opens, have been intricately designed for fluidity between residents’ interior and exterior living. To realize this vision, SRPI worked with renowned international design firms FM Architettura, P&T Group, and P Landscape.

According to P&T Group Architect and Director Edgar Cozzio, “At Haraya Residences, the shape of the buildings gave us a lot of unique opportunities to create deep spaces that allow residents to feel safe and cocooned in their homes but at the same time enjoy a sense of freedom through the generous outdoor living space. We wanted to broaden the outdoor space to bring in that connection with nature – to feel fresh air and feel the outside world while inside.”

Francesca Muzio, founder and CEO at FM Architettura, says, “The idea of traditional living is gone. The way we use the spaces in our homes nowadays is very different. There is a new awareness on the importance of domestic comfort and a desire for more tactile homes—this has been all the more evident—along with having alfresco spaces and opportunities to be closer to nature.”

Muzio adds, “In Italy, we have a concept called loggia. It’s an extension of your home, but also a part of the exterior; a space that can take on many personalities—an intimate garden for example, or an outdoor living room. The idea is to create a flexible layout, discovering new relationships and interactions between spaces that allow for a more contemporary lifestyle. Our design firm calls this concept a “pixelated layout”— a reimagining of the modern home.”

Reconfiguring the modern home

The design experts from FM Architettura, P&T Group, and P Landscape leveraged their expertise to craft one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites whose spatial configurations redefine the notion of a modern home.

Vis-a-vis more traditional layouts, the One-Bedroom Unit at Haraya Residences offers additional flexible space and a loggia that helps expand the already spacious living room, as well as a glass partition that can be used to provide privacy as needed. The Signature One-Bedroom Unit integrates a curvilinear den and even more loggia space and, with its expansive master bedroom and en suite bathroom, offers even more comfort and flexibility.

The Two-Bedroom Unit boasts wide, expansive windows extending all the way from its living room area to the master and guest bedrooms, allowing residents to enjoy panoramic views of the skyline. A loggia bridges the living and dining areas as well as the interior and exterior.

As for the Three-Bedroom Unit, it fully realizes the designers’ and development’s vision of interior spaces that are seamlessly connected with exterior spaces via loggias. These units offer the luxury of space as well as unparalleled views and a balance between private living and entertainment areas.

Amenities as focal point

Muzio says, “From the beautiful entrance, the impressive amenities, to the units, there has to be a sense of place. Also, for us, the experience of a private community is the new amenities component. What we mean by this is that common areas are not only spaces that residents can use, but are natural extensions of their homes, places where residents can cultivate their passions, recharge, rejuvenate, and maybe most importantly, connect with neighbors, friends and family.”

In this vein, it is the amenities at Haraya Residences that truly draw all elements of the development together—privacy elements, community, and well-designed landscaping.

The indoor amenities encompass up to 2,270 square meters and are intricately designed to serve as extensions of residents’ own homes. For instance, The Viewing Room is where residents can enjoy movies with friends and families; The Library is a venue for book aficionados to lose themselves in novels of their choice; The Chef’s Kitchen serves as settings for lavish dinner parties; The Studio is a place for collaboration and work with colleagues; The Tea Room can serve as an executive gathering place; The Lobby Lounge can offer breathtaking views of the Manila skyline while dining; and the playroom and gym can be venues for both kids and adults to exercise and relax.

The outdoor amenities span up to 2,500 square meters and cover a wide range of beautifully kept private nooks and greenery, including swimming pools, children’s play areas, a jacuzzi, and venues for yoga.
